RANDALL LAWRENCE (SAG-AFTRA Actor/Independent Filmmaker/Director/Writer/Executive Producer/Videographer) is Founder and President of Rlawrence Films LLC, an emerging independent film and media production company focused on developing content that is uplifting to the community it serves, launching careers of local talent, and producing and financing short and full-length independent films.! Mr. Lawrence’s first feature film “SECOND CHANCE”, was the first African American independent film to every sale out at the Angelika Film Center Mosaic on February 20, 2016, and also finished is very first short independent film “Kelly” that showed on April 3, 2017 to another sold out audience at Silver Spring Civic Building Veterans Plaza One, now working on his third featured film “Water With A Slice Of Lemon” all done with no sponsorship, using money from saving to invest in his self but plenty of support from other hungry actors such as his self, “Second Chance Redemption” will be the forth film, written/directed by produced by Randall Lawrence, R Lawrence Films LLC .. In addition to acting, directing, writing and producing, Mr. Lawrence has numerous film and television credits to his name including Jamesy Boy, Silver Lining Playbook, Step Up 2, House of Cards, Veep and The Wire. Mr. Lawrence comes to filmmaking and videography from the world of social services and specifically residential health care of the mentally ill. He has been acting, shooting and directing for almost fifteen years now. His list of clients includes independent production companies, independent broadcast networks, and small business/corporations.
