Ricardo Lenis

Writer, storyteller and world traveller with a keen interest in comedy. Following my undergrad (in Canada) y went back to Colombia to become a serious corporate man like my dad, and soon found myself as a bitter yuppy that only cared about money and other banal distractions. Those were rough times... Luckily I was humble enough to seek help and, through therapy, manned up the courage to quit my job, sell my car and travel the world as a wondering soul in search of that which I thought I'd lost. But that's a different story altogether! Following that two year hippy life, I went to live to San Francisco, CA, where I took a Masters in Marketing and got introduced to the world of Improv and Stand Up; I only wish I would've had this opportunity sooner! Sharpening these skills also helped develop my presentation skills, which were crucial in university and, later, at work. But work's work, anyways... My real passion is acting, that's what I've done pretty much all my life: successfully fitting into molds that didn't suit my joyful and free spirited nature. So, I've been a corporate businessman, a hippie, a publicist, and a public servant (tales for other times), but what I really am is a master of emotion and an avid storyteller. Ps. I'm a sucker for fitness, writing, and all things spiritual.
