Actor with Wheelchair Experience
Job Details: We seek a talented mid-20s Black actor with authentic wheelchair experience for an upcoming project. While it is not mandatory, it is fascinating if the candidate has a background as a U.S. military veteran.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the assigned character with authenticity, depth, and emotional resonance.
- Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members to bring the script to life.
- Participate in rehearsals and contribute to character development discussions.
- Be prepared and punctual for all scheduled shooting days.
- Adapt to the unique challenges of working on location in Canada and Italy.
Requirements:
- Genuine wheelchair user with proficient mobility skills.
- Age range: mid-20s.
- Identify as Black.
- Strong acting abilities and the capacity to convey emotions effectively.
- Availability for a 4-day shoot in both Canada and Italy.
Compensation:
- The project operates under a SAG interim agreement, ensuring competitive compensation in line with industry standards.
- Travel, accommodation, and per diem expenses for shooting days in Canada and Italy will be covered.
