Casting Call: Generations of Unity
Project Type: Short Film
Job Detail: We are seeking female-identifying and non-binary individuals, along with their mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, etc., to portray a multi-generational Asian family for a short film project set in New York City.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the authentic dynamics and interactions of a close-knit, multi-generational Asian family.
- Follow the direction of the director and contribute to the emotional depth of the scenes.
- Be punctual and professional on set, adhering to the shooting schedule.
Requirements:
- Female-identifying or non-binary individuals, along with their family members (mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, etc.).
- All ethnicities within the broader Asian diaspora are encouraged to apply.
- Must be available for shooting in New York City on 10/30.
Compensation:
- All cast members will receive a competitive daily rate, commensurate with experience.
- Meals and refreshments will be provided on set.
- Transportation costs will be covered for those traveling from within New York City.

This is a short documentary airing on a major news network in Summer 2021. We are filming in mid-March. Travel and expenses will be provided if necessary. This is a non-union production. Covid protocols will be strictly adhered. Tests will be provided for all talent and crew.
