Job Details: “Trading Skills” is an exciting new unscripted TV series that aims to explore a variety of skilled trades through the eyes of our young and vibrant hosts. We are currently seeking kids aged 10-12 who are passionate, funny, and curious about learning new things. The hosts will play a pivotal role in engaging our audience and making the world of skilled trades accessible and entertaining to viewers of all ages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hosting and Presentation: Engaging with the audience and guests in a confident and entertaining manner.
- Interviewing and Interaction: Conducting interviews with professionals from various skilled trades, demonstrating active listening and genuine curiosity.
- Learning and Participation: Actively participating in demonstrations and learning activities related to different trades.
- Comedic Engagement: Utilizing strong comedic timing to enhance the entertainment value of the series.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the production team and other cast members to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable show experience.
Requirements:
- Age: Must be between 10-12 years old.
- Location: Must be based in Ontario, Canada, or willing to travel.
- Personality Traits: Should be curious, energetic, and have a good sense of humor. Strong comedic timing is essential.
- Ethnicity and Gender: Open to all ethnicities and genders.
- Experience: Previous experience in hosting, acting, or performing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available for the shooting schedule from March to June 2024 (exact dates TBD).
Compensation Details:
- Rate: $750 per day (Full Buyout).
- Travel and Accommodations: All travel, accommodation, and per diem expenses will be covered by the production.
- Contract Type: This is a non-union project.

- Height: 5’8” to 5’10”.
- Medium brown complexion (please refer to the photo in the casting notice for reference).
- Must be a highly skilled pool player, capable of performing advanced shots with confidence.
- Comfortable performing in a dynamic environment surrounded by party onlookers.
- Experience in similar roles is a plus but not required.
- Must be available to shoot in Toronto.
Compensation:
- Pay: $3,000 if selected.
- This is a non-union campaign.
