Job Responsibilities:
- Taste kimbap prepared by different chefs on camera, providing genuine and respectful feedback.
- Engage in light-hearted conversations and interviews about the food tasting experience.
- Use the kimbap tasting experience to make assumptions about the chefs’ personalities.
- Select one chef based on the kimbap for a 15-minute filmed speed date.
- Participate in pre-shoot meetings and rehearsals as required by the production team.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and follow the directions of the production crew throughout the shoot.
Requirements:
- Must be a Korean American male, aged 21-35.
- Comfortable with being filmed and tasting food on camera.
- Outgoing, personable, and able to articulate thoughts and opinions well.
- No professional culinary experience required, but must have a genuine appreciation for food.
- Must be single and open to the concept of a blind date based on culinary experience.
- Must be available for the entire day of shooting on February 29, 2024, in New York, NY.
- Previous experience in television, film, or reality shows is a plus but not required.
Compensation:
- Flat rate of $250 for the shoot day.
