Job Details: We are currently seeking a Middle Eastern and Hispanic male stand-in for an upcoming union project. The ideal candidate should be experienced in stand-in work, with a height ranging from 5’6″ to 5’8″. This role requires someone who can closely match the physical characteristics of the character being portrayed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Standing in for the actor during lighting setups and camera rehearsals to help the director of photography and camera crew frame shots and establish lighting requirements.
- Working closely with the director, cinematographer, and other crew members to ensure the smooth running of the shooting process.
- Following directions accurately regarding physical positioning, movement, and interactions as per the requirements of the scene.
- Being available on set for the entire duration of the shoot on the specified date.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion at all times on set.
Requirements:
- Male, Middle Eastern and Hispanic ethnicity.
- Height: Between 5’6″ and 5’8″.
- Previous stand-in experience is required.
- Must be available for the entirety of the shoot on February 24.
- Must be a member of SAG-AFTRA or eligible for union projects.
- Ability to closely follow directions and quickly adapt to changes in the shooting environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the set in Washington, DC.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Compensation Details:
- This position is compensated according to the SAG Scale.
