This casting call seeks a talented female basketball player aged between 14 to 16 years old, alongside her real dad, aged between 40s to 50s. This commercial aims to capture the special bond between a father and daughter through the lens of basketball, destined for screening on New Zealand TV and online platforms, particularly as engaging intros around the One Sports News.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in auditions and any required rehearsals prior to the shoot.

  • Be available and commit to the shoot dates without any scheduling conflicts.

  • Collaborate with the director and crew to bring the vision of the commercial to life.

  • Perform basketball-related activities as required for the commercial’s content.

Requirements:

  • Real father and daughter pairings only. We will not be casting individuals.

  • Daughter must be aged between 14 to 16 years old.

  • Dad must be aged in his 40s to 50s.

  • Applicants must be Auckland based.

  • Must be available for all potential shoot dates: 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th (weather contingency) of March.

  • Previous acting experience is not required but may be beneficial.

Compensation Details:

  • Dad: $3000 NZD (minus tax)

  • Daughter: $1000 NZD (minus tax)

  • Compensation Includes: Payment is for the shoot day and for the rights to air the commercial on NZ TV and the Internet for 1 year.
