Casting Call: Background Actor for Photo Shoot
Job Overview: We are currently seeking a background actor to play a crucial role in an upcoming photo shoot. This role requires a real female aged 18 or older, who can convincingly portray someone younger, specifically a high school student, and who is a leg amputee. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a project that aims to present diverse and authentic representations. The work date is scheduled for Thursday, March 21st, and applicants must have full-day availability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a photo shoot as a background actor, portraying a high school student who is a leg amputee.
- Collaborate with the photography and direction team to achieve the desired scene compositions.
- Be prepared for a variety of shots and potentially multiple outfit changes.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and follow the directions provided by the shoot director or photography director.
- Be punctual and maintain a high level of availability throughout the scheduled shoot date.
Requirements:
- Must meet the age and physical requirements as specified above.
- Prior acting or modeling experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be comfortable being photographed and able to follow direction well.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shoot location.
- Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse team of creatives.
Compensation Details:
- The compensation for this role is the SAG Special Ability rate of $218 for an 8-hour day. Any overtime will be compensated accordingly.
- Meals and refreshments will be provided during the shoot.
