We are excited to announce an open casting call for child actors to participate in the upcoming project “Preparation for the Next Life.” We are seeking talented minors aged 6-13, of East Asian descent, to portray children playing soccer in a key scene of the production.

- Filming Date: Monday, April 8th
- Filming Location: Corona, Queens, NY
- Union Status: SAG-AFTRA Production
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the role of a child playing soccer, participating in both group scenes and potentially individual moments within the scene.
- Follow directions from the director and crew to ensure scenes are captured according to the script and creative vision.
- Work closely with other cast members to create a believable and dynamic soccer game environment.
- Attend wardrobe fittings as required, with dates and times to be confirmed closer to the filming date.
- Be prepared for a full day of shooting, including arriving on set at the call time with hair and makeup ready, if applicable.
Requirements:
- Must be between the ages of 6-13 and of East Asian descent.
- Previous acting experience is preferred but not required.
- Must have a legal guardian present at all times during the filming.
- Legal guardian must provide consent and be willing to sign a release form on behalf of the minor.
- Must be comfortable with physical activity and able to follow choreographed soccer play scenes.
- Ability to take direction well and adapt to changes in the filming process.
- Must be available for the entire day of Monday, April 8th, and able to travel to Corona, Queens.
Compensation Details:
- This role is compensated at the SAG rate of $208 for 8 hours of work.
- Overtime will be compensated at the appropriate SAG rates if the filming day extends beyond 8 hours.
- Any wardrobe fittings or additional responsibilities outside of the filming day will also be compensated.
