Casting Call: Participants for “JOYRIDE” – A New PBS Interview Web Series
Job Detail: We are excited to announce a casting call for a unique opportunity to be featured in the upcoming PBS web series titled “JOYRIDE.” This interview series aims to share the enriching life stories and experiences of our elder population, bringing to light the unique perspectives of those who have lived through remarkable times.
Job Responsibilities:

Participate in an on-camera interview, discussing your life experiences, stories, and wisdom.

Be open to sharing personal narratives that may help to inspire and educate viewers.

Engage with the interviewer in a thoughtful, reflective manner.
Requirements:

Must be 75 years of age or older.

Possess a wealth of life experiences and stories to tell.

Individuals who may feel more isolated than before, or who live with disabilities that limit their outdoor activities, are especially encouraged to apply.

Must be comfortable with being filmed and having their stories shared publicly.

Be available for the duration of the shoot (specific dates to be communicated upon selection).
Compensation:

While this is a non-paying role, participants will have the unique opportunity to share their legacy with a broad audience.

Transportation and any related expenses for the filming will be covered.

Participants will receive a copy of their episode for personal use.
Related jobs:
As a contestant, you will play games with 5 other contestants to see if you meet anyone you like. Generally, contestants only appear in one episode, though there are opportunities to come back for an additional episode or two.
The Game Show of Love is an interactive virtual dating game show that takes place live over Zoom. We are now casting for Season 2. In each episode 6 contestants get to know each other through a series of (f)unconventional games and questions. At the end of the episode, they submit secretly the name of the person they want to match with and if two people pick each other, they’ve met their match!
