Job Description: We are currently seeking a professional Stand-In for an upcoming film production based in the Atlanta area. The successful candidate will work closely with the film crew to aid in the setup of scenes and lighting by standing in for the leading actor during technical preparations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the director and cinematographer to ensure accurate positioning, lighting, and camera setups.
- Be available to stand-in for the leading actor during all technical rehearsals.
- Follow precise instructions regarding physical movements and positions during rehearsals.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and patience on set during what can be long periods of adjustment and waiting.
- Be prepared to work flexible hours as required by the production’s schedule.
Requirements:
- Gender: Male
- Ethnicity: African American
- Height: Between 6’2” and 6’4”
- Body Type: Well built, muscular/athletic
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a flexible schedule that allows for varied filming dates.
- Previous experience as a stand-in or in film production is preferred but not required.
- Must be local to the Atlanta area or willing to travel to the location on required dates.
Compensation:
- Rate: $182 per 12-hour shift
- Note: Compensation is based on a 12-hour workday; any extension of work hours will be compensated accordingly.
