Job Description: We are casting real Spades players for a Spades tournament scene in the upcoming season of “The Chi.” This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your card-playing skills in a popular TV series. We are looking for individuals who are experienced in playing Spades and can bring authenticity to the scene.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate as a Spades player in a tournament scene for “The Chi.”
- Accurately portray a Spades player with knowledge of the game.
- Follow directions from the director and production team to ensure a realistic and engaging scene.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism on set.
Requirements:
- Age: 25-75 years old
- Ethnicity: African American & Latinx
- All genders welcome
- Must be an experienced Spades player
- Must be available for filming in the Chicagoland area
Compensation Details:
- Rate: $130 for 8 hours
- Additional details regarding compensation and logistics will be provided upon selection.

As a contestant, you will play games with 5 other contestants to see if you meet anyone you like. Generally, contestants only appear in one episode, though there are opportunities to come back for an additional episode or two.
