Casting Call for Carson in “Love & Chaos” Feature Film
Job Description: We are seeking a talented and dedicated actor to portray Carson, a major supporting role in the upcoming feature film “Love & Chaos.” This film follows an unlikely cast of college-aged improv actors on a journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as they navigate an international improv festival.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the character Carson, a patriotic amputee struggling with PTSD from his time in service.
- Bring authenticity and depth to the character, reflecting his use of improv as a form of therapy.
- Collaborate with fellow cast members to develop a cohesive and compelling ensemble performance.
- Participate in both on-stage and off-stage improvisational activities as required by the script.
- Contribute to the overall narrative with strong comedic timing and emotional resonance.
Requirements:
- Male, early 20s.
- Must be an amputee.
- Strong comedic skills with the ability to handle dramatic moments.
- Previous experience in improv is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work well in an ensemble cast and take direction effectively.
- Dedicated to accurately representing the character’s background and experiences.
Compensation Details:
- Rate: SAG weekly buyout of $5500/week
