Job Description: We are casting for lead roles in an upcoming feature film set in the stunning and challenging environment of the Florida Everglades. Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the lead character “Beverly,” a hardworking single mother and diner waitress, with depth and authenticity.
- Participate in intense, emotionally charged scenes, including those involving the use of a prop knife (with a qualified armourer on set).
- Work closely with the director and fellow cast members to bring the story to life.
- Commit to 6 shoot days per week during the filming period, ensuring full availability and dedication to the role.
Role Details:
- Beverly: Female, aged 37 to 45, all ethnicities. A resilient and determined mother whose strength is put to the test when her daughter goes missing in the Florida Everglades. The character requires an actor capable of conveying a wide range of emotions, from deep vulnerability to fierce determination.
Requirements:
- Must be available for the full shoot period from September 16 to October 1.
- Experience in film acting is preferred, particularly in lead roles.
- Comfortable with the use of prop weapons on set, under the supervision of a qualified armourer.
- Able to perform under physically and emotionally demanding conditions.
Compensation:
- Rate: $1,200 per week for lead roles.
- Accommodations and lodging will be provided for the duration of the shoot.
- $60 daily per diem to cover additional expenses.
