Job Description:
We are casting a male actor to portray a suburban husband in a commercial for an air conditioning company. This role requires the actor to play a stressed and frustrated husband dealing with the discomfort of a broken air conditioning system in his home. Alongside his wife, the character experiences relief after deciding to call the AC repair service. The actor must effectively communicate these emotions through facial expressions and body language, as the role is non-speaking.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray a suburban husband in a household dealing with the stress and frustration of a non-working air conditioner.
• Use non-verbal acting to express emotions of discomfort, stress, and eventual satisfaction after the air conditioning issue is resolved.
• Collaborate with the actor portraying the wife to create a realistic suburban household environment.
• Follow direction from the production team to ensure the commercial’s message is effectively conveyed.
• Maintain a professional and polished appearance that reflects the commercial’s suburban setting.

Requirements:

• Male talent, aged 25 to 45.
• Open to all ethnicities.
• Ability to effectively communicate emotions through facial expressions and body language, as this is a non-speaking role.
• Comedic and improvisational skills are a plus but not required.
• Must be available to film in Phoenix, AZ.
• Prior experience in commercial or non-verbal acting is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation:

• Pay rate: $750 flat rate plus craft services.
• This role includes a complete buyout for use across TV, internet, print, radio, and out-of-home media, with no talent fee renewals required.
