Casting Call: Female Basketball Players for Major Sneaker Brand Campaign

Job Description: A major sneaker brand is seeking female basketball players to feature as on-camera talent for an upcoming nonunion campaign. No previous acting experience is required, but we are looking for women and girls with real basketball experience who can perform on-camera in a natural and competitive way. This is a fantastic opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills and personality while representing a well-known brand.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform basketball drills, plays, and competitive activities in front of the camera.
• Showcase advanced basketball skills, including dribbling, shooting, passing, and running plays.
• Engage in friendly competition, improvise, and showcase a fun, energetic personality (trash talking, joking around, etc.).
• Follow directions from the production team and work collaboratively on set.

Requirements:

• Female basketball players, aged 13-23.
• Must have advanced to pro-level basketball experience (dribbling, shooting, passing, running plays, etc.).
• Open to all ethnicities.
• Ability to improvise and engage in friendly competitive banter.
• Must be local to Los Angeles, CA, and able to self-commute to the fitting and shoot location.
• Must be fully available for a 10-hour shoot day.

Compensation:

• $750 for a 10-hour session.
• $150 for a fitting (if the fitting does not occur on the shoot day).
• $2000 usage fee for the campaign (subject to change depending on NCAA eligibility status).
• The production will assist with any necessary work permits or Coogan accounts.
