Disney has just unveiled the much-anticipated teaser trailer for its spooky remake of the 2003 classic Haunted Mansion. The movie recaptures the spine-tingling feel of Disneyland’s famous ride. It stars a stellar cast that includes LaKeith Stanfield, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jared Leto, Winona Ryder, Owen Wilson, and Danny DeVito. Dan Levy and Tiffany Haddish are also part of this remarkable ensemble.
In the trailer, Dawson portrays Gabbie – a single mother who accidentally moves into a paranormal New Orleans house with her nine-year-old son (Chase Dillon). She works with an elite team to perform an exorcism to eliminate all the ghosts that haunt her property. She enlists the questionable paranormal expert portrayed by Stanfield, a psychic (Haddish), and a historian (DeVito) to complete her mission. Leto stars as the Hatbox Ghost, who can detach his head from his shoulders at any moment – only for it to reappear in its signature hatbox. An apparition appeared in the attraction in 1969, only to be removed shortly after. Yet, it was reinstated and reimagined for 2015!
