Job Description: Looking for a creative type who wants a career in film production and video marketing. Looking for a team player who wants to learn about production & cinematography, someone who has created films, music videos, and video content. We are looking for someone who can follow our values:

Tact – As a veteran-owned company, we strive to respect our team and our clients, their clients, talent, cast members, and crew. Respect goes a long way when it comes to trusting one another. So, we expect everyone we work with to be tactical in their approaches. Especially when it comes to critiquing peers & each other’s personalities, this also means not to offend anyone whom you may think has a ‘bad idea.’

Vision – This person should understand what visual storytelling is at a basic level but strive to be better and find more creative ways of visual storytelling. It also falls under how we present ourselves, our business, and how we talk about our product.

This person would fill the role of Producers Assistant. They will shadow one of our producers and assist them in pre-production and production. This role is for a mentee who wants to learn about production and cinematography. 

Promotions:

Based on skill, independence, & leadership

Producers Asst. → Production Manager → Creative Producer → Create your Future as one of the Joneses.

Duties:

Shadow and learn from our producers about our processes from pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery of video products.

Be responsible for keeping to schedules and deadlines.

Assist with all production needs, such as lighting, camera, and audio.

You will learn about our gear and how it is used to create high-quality videos.

Assist in office & studio up-keep such as cleaning & painting.

Roles: Producers are looking for Production Assistant

As a production assistant, you’ll communicate with everyone from the director and producers to the cast and crew. You must have strong communication skills and can effectively relay information.

Things can change quickly on a film set, so producer assistants must be flexible and adaptable. From last-minute schedule changes to weather delays, you need to be able to roll with the punches.

  1. Be a problem-solver.

Producer assistants are often the ones who are tasked with solving problems that come up during production. Whether it’s finding a last-minute location or fixing a piece of equipment, you need to be able to think on your feet and come up with solutions.

  1. Have a positive attitude.

With all the stress and long hours that come with production, it’s essential to maintain a positive attitude. Producer assistants need to be able to stay calm under pressure and be a source of support for the rest of the team.
