Casting Call: Participant for Commercial – “Casting People Who Hire with Upwork”
Job Overview: We are seeking charismatic individuals in the Los Angeles area who have experience hiring freelancers, temporary, or permanent staff via the Upwork platform. Participants will be featured in a commercial to share their experiences. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your hiring expertise and the benefits of utilizing Upwork for diverse staffing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a video shoot for up to 10 hours on one of the days between May 7-9, 2024.
- Share your experiences and insights about hiring through Upwork in a filmed interview.
- Collaborate with a film crew, potentially in your own workspace, to create authentic and engaging content for the commercial.
Requirements:
- Must have hired personnel in one or more of the following areas via Upwork:
- Software, Mobile, or Web Engineering/Development
- Admin Support
- Sales or Marketing
- Design or Creative
- Accounting & Consulting
- Data Science & Analytics
- Engineering & Architecture
- IT & Networking
- Legal
- Translation
- Writing
- AI
- Reside in or around the Los Angeles area.
- Comfortable with speaking on camera; no prior on-camera experience required.
- Must be available for one full day (up to 10 hours) for the shoot between May 7-9, 2024.
- You will not be required to disclose the company you work for.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Small business owners or individuals with decision-making roles in staffing.
- A genuine and engaging storytelling ability.
- Comfortable hosting a minimal film crew at your workspace, if necessary.
Compensation: $2000 for the shoot day. Potential for 20% increase for a second-year renewal. Compensation includes usage rights for 1-Year Digital, Internet Social, YouTube, and OTT platforms.
