Job Description: Boston Casting is seeking mixed-race men for stand-in roles in an upcoming commercial. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who match the physical specifications needed to double for the lead actor in the production. Stand-in work involves taking the place of the actor during lighting setups, rehearsals, and camera tests, ensuring that everything is set correctly before the principal actor steps in.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a stand-in for the lead actor during the filming of a commercial.
- Be available for two full days of shooting, providing consistency and professionalism throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with the director, camera crew, and other production members to ensure that all technical aspects of the shoot are correctly aligned.
- Follow specific instructions regarding positioning, movement, and timing to match the lead actor's role accurately.
Requirements:
- Male, mixed race, aged 18-38 years old.
- Height: 6'7″ – 6'9″.
- Weight: 190 – 230 lbs.
- Must be physically fit and able to remain standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience as a stand-in is a plus but not required; however, professionalism and attention to detail are essential.
- Must be available for both shoot days and able to work in the Boston area.
Compensation Details:
- Stand-ins will gain valuable on-set experience and the opportunity to work closely with a professional production team.
- Pay is $253 per day.
- This is a two-day commitment, offering a total of $506 for the project.
