Job Description:
A24 is seeking fluent Romanian and Polish-speaking actors for a day player role in an upcoming feature film. This is a unique opportunity to work with a renowned production company and be part of a compelling and culturally rich narrative. The role requires a strong command of the Romanian and Polish languages, as well as the ability to bring depth and authenticity to the character.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a character with fluency in both Romanian and Polish.
- Work closely with the director and production team to bring the character to life.
- Collaborate effectively on set to ensure the character’s authenticity and cultural accuracy.
- Deliver a compelling and believable performance within the specified age range.
Requirements:
- Male actor, aged 50 – 70 years old.
- Fluency in both Romanian and Polish languages is mandatory.
- Previous acting experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be a local resident of New York, NY, or willing to work as a local hire.
- Ability to follow direction and adapt quickly to changes on set.
Compensation:
- This is a paid day player role.
- Compensation will be provided in accordance with industry standards for day players.
- Actors will be compensated for any additional hours worked beyond the standard day player rate.
- Meals and travel within New York, NY, will be covered during shooting days.
