Casting Call: African-American Horn Players for “EASY’s WALTZ”
Job Details: We are casting talented African-American horn players for the upcoming film, “EASY’s WALTZ.” Selected individuals will participate in a specific scene scheduled for shooting on Tuesday, April 30.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform as a horn player within a designated scene, following the director’s artistic vision.
- Work collaboratively with other musicians and actors on set.
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality throughout the filming process.
- Be prepared for potential multiple takes and adjustments as directed by the production team.
Requirements:
- Must identify as African-American.
- Proficient in playing the horn with a strong musical background.
- Previous experience in performances or recordings is preferred.
- Must be available on the specified date for the entire day.
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changes in a dynamic filming environment.
- Must be a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) or eligible for SAG membership.
Compensation:
- Pay rate is $218 for an 8-hour day under the SAG Special Ability Background rate. Overtime, if applicable, will be compensated according to SAG guidelines.
