Here's the latest Gran Tourismo plot!
The highly-popular racing simulation video game, Gran Turismo has been turned into a movie! The upcoming Hollywood adaptation will focus on the competitive element of this long-running series.
The film is based on a true story of the ultimate wish-fulfillment tale as it follows one teen's journey to becoming an actual professional race car driver.
The brief plot note is believed to be inspired by Lucas Ordóñez, who won the inaugural GT Academy competition in 2013. The winner of this game-like reality TV show was able to secure a spot at Nissan's factory and work with developers from Polyphony Digital on developing their next title for PlayStation 4 before it launches.
The Hollywood adaptation is expected to be released on 11 August 2023.
