Casting Call: Experienced Paramedic for Background Role in 80s Thriller
Job Details: We are seeking experienced paramedics for a background role in an upcoming 80s-themed thriller film. This is a great opportunity for those with real paramedic experience to bring authenticity to a dynamic film set. The role requires appearing in a film scene, accurately portraying the duties and demeanor of a paramedic.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a paramedic in a background role, contributing to the realism and depth of the film scene.
- Follow directions from the director and other film staff to ensure scenes are executed properly.
- Be prepared to wear a costume provided by the wardrobe department and maintain its condition throughout the shooting day.
- Maintain professional behavior on set, respecting the work environment and adhering to set protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a paramedic. Certification or proof of training may be requested.
- Ability to authentically perform the tasks and behavior typical of a paramedic.
- Flexible availability to accommodate the filming schedule and potential call times.
- Professional demeanor and ability to take direction well.
- Located in or able to commute to Los Angeles on the specified date.
Compensation:
- SAG rate of $218 for an 8-hour day.
- Overtime and other related compensations will be in accordance with SAG guidelines.
