Job Details: We are casting for a regional commercial for a leading bank. The role is a non-union, male actor buyout for two years. We are looking for an actor who embodies the character “Tyler,” a smart, sweet, slightly nerdy, and fun individual who is confident on camera and skilled in improvisation.
Character Profile:
- Age Appearance: 28-35 years
- Ethnicity: Caucasian
- Traits: Tyler is the quintessential “good at everything” guy — from sports to playing classical guitar. He possesses a charm and charisma akin to Ted Lasso; not boastful but genuinely talented and good-hearted. Tyler is the reliable, unsung hero in the banking world, dedicated and always helping, not for fame but out of sincerity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the character Tyler with authenticity and engage with the script through both scripted lines and improvisational scenarios.
- Work closely with directors and crew to bring the character to life in a way that resonates with the target audience.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and a high level of performance consistency throughout the shoot.
Requirements:
- Male, 28-35 looking, Caucasian.
- Strong improvisational skills and on-camera confidence.
- Able to convey a range of qualities: smart, sweet, helpful, a little nerdy, and fun.
- Must NOT be loud, demeaning, belittling, boastful, or haphazard.
- Must be available for all shooting and travel dates specified.
Compensation Details:
- Type: Buyout for 2 years.
- Rate: Specific compensation details will be provided via email along with audition specifications.
- Additional Benefits: Travel expenses covered for the duration of the shoot.
