Joaquin Phoenix‘s stunning portrayal of the notorious Joker comes to life in these newly surfaced set photos from ‘Joker: Folie à Deux.’
Images have recently surfaced from the Joker: Folie à Deux set, giving fans a sneak peek at star Joaquin Phoenix in his iconic role as the Joker.
The Clown Prince of Crime appears to have some lookalikes after images surfaced online. Social media platforms such as Reddit have shared pictures of Joaquin Phoenix in character as Arthur Fleck/Joker – only he wasn’t alone! His attire was tattered, and his Joker makeup was smudged; multiple doppelgangers accompanied him in each image. Joaquin Phoenix portrays the real Joker and Arthur’s final look from the 2019 film, known as “the Joker uniform.” An iconic Joker appears, clad in his signature bright red suit and donned with green-hued hair accompanied by clown makeup.
In other photos and a video, Phoenix is seen pursuing the Joker and another unfamiliar character on the bustling streets. Currently, fans only have a few details about what will unfold in this sequel, except for one central point: Lady Gaga has been cast as Harley Quinn!
On October 4th, 2024, the highly anticipated Joker: Folie à Deux will hit cinemas nationwide.
