Universal Pictures Announces Release Date for M. Night Shyamalan’s Next Thriller

According To Universal Pictures, the upcoming M. Night Shyamalan thriller will be released in 2024.

Universal Pictures and M. Night Shyamalan are expanding their partnership with another new thriller set to release in 2024.

Currently, two-time nominated filmmaker Shyamalan is set to release another thriller with Universal titled Knock at the Cabin. The new 2024 release will be the sixth movie Shyamalan will release with the studio and stars Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Jonathan Groff, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and Ben Aldridge. The Shyamalan and Universal partnership has resulted in four global hits, with The Visit, Split, and Glass​combing for $713 million. Their next release, Old, is set to come out on February 3, 2023. It follows the story of a family taken hostage and has to make an impossible choice to save themselves from doom.

The mystery thriller from Shyamalan and Universal is set to premiere on April 5, 2024, but no further information on the story or a broader release schedule has been announced. The studio is planning to 2024 and counting on Shyamalan heavily. Expect an announcement in 2019 regarding the anticipated trailer.
