We are seeking duos (couples, friends, cousins, siblings, classmates, parent & child, etc) and families, across Canada, with a story about how Lay’s chips have brought them joy.
Are Lay’s part of a special annual camping trip? A celebratory treat shared among friends. A staple of a family reunion? We are open to all kinds of stories!
We encourage submissions from the BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+ and disabled communities.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This is an NON-UNION project. No acting experience is required, however, you should be outgoing and comfortable being interviewed on camera.
Strict COVID-19 safety protocol will be adhered to during the production of this commercial and it will be produced in accordance with public health guidelines at the time of filming.

- If shortlisted, you MUST be available on August 23rd for a brief online interview with the director.
- If selected, you MUST be available for a COVID test between September 19th – 20th. You will only be required briefly on one day.

- If booked, you will each receive $100 for a covid test appointment, and $750 for one day of filming. If your footage is in the final commercial, you will receive an additional $1,250 for its use. If filming takes place at your home, you will also receive $500 as a location fee.

Commercial Casting Call for Scandanavian Actors
We are looking for Scandinavian looking

- 25-33 years old to feature in a commercial as part of a COUPLE.
Some people will then be asked to send in a video recording so we can get to know you a bit more.
After that a small number of people will be invited to a London casting studio to meet someone from our team and from the production.
If you attend a recall you will be paid £50.
If you get the job you will be paid a guaranteed day rate and then if you are in the final edit that airs you would receive an additional buy out.

Healthcare Commercial Casting Call
Casting: 20 Non-Union/Non-Speaking Principal RolesÂ
Ages 9-72 years FOR A HEALTHCARE COMMERCIAL
Shooting Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia
Date: August 18-22, 2022.
All should be able to work any day that week.
Some talent may be needed for two days.
Rates: $1000/day for 1 Year buyout
- Fitting for those within 150 miles of Pittsburgh on August 17th – $300
- Those beyond 150 miles of Pittsburgh will be fitted on the shoot day.
Mileage will be provided for those outside of the 150 mile radius but within driving distance of Pittsburgh – No hotel or per diem.
COVID PROTOCOLS: VAXXES ARE NOT MANDATORY, however
the client would prefer talent to be fully vaxxed with at least 1 booster BUT If you do not have these vaccinations, they will require the talent to provide production with a negative covid PCR test done 2 days prior to their first day of shooting.
Self-tape direction:
Slate on a head to toe shot, face the camera, smile and say your name, role, city, and agent (if you have one) and if you are 56-72 yrs, please also let us know if you are a good/confident swimmer and are ok to wear a bathing suit in a scene. Then stop and reset the camera (or move towards camera) into a medium shot (waist or chest up) and answer the question:
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE VACATION AND WHY?
- 60 seconds or so is fine.
- When sending your self-tapes, please also INCLUDE a recent headshot and full length still photo (well-lit smart phone smiling photos are fine if you don’t have a professional photos. No hats or sunglasses please).
WE ARE CASTING: Men and Women (25-72 yrs) and Children (9-12 yrs) – white, black, hispanic, bi-racial and ethnically ambiguous.
(20) roles in the following age ranges are available and the director will choose which role that he would like booked talent to play, such as doctor, patient, visitor, health care worker, park goer, swimmer (56-72 year olds only – please note in your slate if you are a good swimmer) or school age child.
Note: when you say your role name it should be one of the age ranges listed below. (For instance one would say, Hi I am Jane Smith for the 9-12 Year old girl). Then answer the question: What was your favorite vacation and why?)
