SEEKING A REAL FAMILY OF 4 FOR AN INSURANCE WEB COMMERCIAL!

No previous acting experience necessary. Non-speaking roles. This is a non union project.

Start Date: October 29 or October 30 in Port Carling, ON

Usage: Online (website and social media)

Rates: $2000 flat/family – ($500/day per person)

Travel/gas expenses reimbursed for the family to come up to Port Carling and head back home that evening. Food will be provided at the cottage.

Roles:

Wardrobe: Sweater, Jacket, Jeans, Flannel button ups (cottage wear, no logos)

“Brain Waves” (working title) 

A highly anticipated Horror Movie fiming briefly in Savannah.

Having lived on his family run farm for his entire life, Oisin has become accustomed to his father’s superstitions. However, one morning, an unfortunate accident leads to this superstition becoming a reality. A film which encapsulates rural life and Irish folklore.

Oisin: Mid-twenties, athletic build. A young male very keen on escaping the monotony of working on the family-run farm he was born into. Never in the mood to put up with his father’s obsession over old superstitions. 

Padraig: Fifties, a man whose only known one way of living and that’s farming. The current owner of a plot of land that has been passed down through many generations of his family. As a result, he religiously believes in the superstitions that have also been passed down. These beliefs have made him quite paranoid in his old age. He expects his own son to inherit the family farm one day.

Tim: Fifties, Oisin and Padraig’s neighbour. A simple man passionate about his work on the farm. Having grown up in the same environment as Padraig, he also firmly believes in these superstitions. 

A defensive, hardened inmate; he’s been in juvenile detention for several months, already; skeptical of everyone, aggressive, and always saves face; before prison, he was a signed rapper with enormous potential; deeply resentful of his father for his present circumstances; articulates his emotions through rap; deep down, he feels abandoned and alone.

Two male stand in needed for a high profile TV promo shoot. Must be at least 5’9. Ability to walk in heels is a plus. Please apply with a full body picture and your height.

We are looking for 2-3 actors/fitness enthusiasts for exercise videos designed for youth. We are seeking well-groomed, polished, and confident actors or fitness enthusiasts with a great smile and personality for the camera (suggested ages 18-30). The position will pay $150 for up to 3 hours to perform exercise movements for up to 24, 3-minute videos. 

Casting call audition: October 26, 2021 

Time: 10am-12pm 

All content shots, attire, languages, and actions must be considered appropriate for a G-Rating, for audiences between 5-17 years of age. 

Actors must be able/willing to:

• Complete a W9
• Sign an Independent Contractor’s Agreement 
• Have availability for the full duration of filming
• Perform physical tasks 
• Follow Director’s directions and cues
• Film multiple takes on camera

Dress Attire:

• Company branded shirts to be provided 
• Black shorts (not provided)

• White or black sneakers (not provided)
• No branding logos 
• Cover all existing tattoos

• Tie back hair if necessary

We’re conducting an international search for a little person/person with dwarfism to play a wide range of ages from 10-22 for the role of ALANA. (We see this character throughout many stages of her life.) Acting experience is not required but welcomed.
