Casting Call: Athleta Girl Fall ’24 Project

Athleta is thrilled to announce a special new project designed to spotlight the spirit, passion, and dedication of young female athletes. We’re inviting vibrant young talents who embody the joy and determination of their sports to be a part of this inspiring campaign. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring athletes to showcase their skills and passion for sport while being part of a major Athleta project.

Project Overview

  • Dates: May 4 – 6, 2024. Please note that being booked for multiple days is not guaranteed.

  • Location: Los Angeles, CA. Applicants must be local to Los Angeles.

  • Usage Rights:

    • Term: 12 months from the start of the campaign.

    • Territory: Worldwide.

    • Media: The campaign will be featured in Print/Out-of-Home (OOH), Direct Mail, Store Use, Mall/Outside of Store Use, Email/Internet/Viral Marketing/New Media, and PR efforts.

Job Responsibilities

Selected athletes will:

  • Participate in a 2-hour fitting session and the photoshoot days as scheduled.

  • Demonstrate their sport and share their passion and dedication through the lens of the Athleta brand.

  • Collaborate with the creative team to capture dynamic, authentic moments that highlight the essence of young female athleticism.

  • Be prepared to engage in various athletic activities as directed, ensuring a vibrant and diverse portrayal of sports and athleticism.

Requirements

  • Female athletes who are passionate about their sport.

  • Must be local to Los Angeles, CA.

  • Available for the project dates and fitting session.

  • Comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

  • Able to take direction well and work collaboratively with the creative team.

Compensation Details:

  • Minor Hero Fitting Rate: $100 for a 2-hour fitting session.

  • Minor Hero Rate: $900 for the duration permitted on set. This includes compensation for the below usage rights, confirmed at the time of booking.

  • Pre-Negotiated Renewal Option: $900 (plus 20% agency fee, if applicable) to extend the usage rights for an additional year.

Casting Call: Actors for Healthcare/Medical Centers Commercial

Project Information: We are casting for a commercial focused on healthcare/medical centers. This project aims to showcase the importance and impact of healthcare services across various life stages.

  • Location: Miami
  • Shoot Dates: April 14th & 15th (One day of work up to 12 hours)
  • Callback Dates: TBD (Between March 29th and April 1st)
  • Fitting Day: TBD
  • Usage: TV + Digital platforms in South Florida for 15 months
  • Exclusivity Requirement: Yes. We require exclusivity for talent in the healthcare/medical center advertising space. Applicants must not have participated in principal roles in competitors’ campaigns within the last 12 months. Additionally, talents should not have any current advertising conflicts in this sector.

Talent Breakdown:

Principal Roles (Latin-Look):

  • Female Teen (18-25): Seeking a young woman who can portray a late teen at a dance scene and mid to late 20s for a wedding scene. Ideal candidates are in their early 20s, adaptable to look slightly younger or older as required.
  • Male Teen (18-25): Seeking a young man with the same age flexibility and requirements as the female teen role.
  • Senior Female (65-70): Looking for a senior female to play a significant role in the commercial.
  • Senior Male (65-70): Seeking a senior male counterpart for the senior female role.

Secondary Roles:

  • Teen Girls (16-19): Casting 3 teenage girls for a party scene.
  • Kid (Male, 7-8 years old, Latin-Look): Seeking a young boy for a supportive role in the commercial.
  • Adults (1 Male & 1 Female, Late 30s to Early 40s, Latin-Look): Looking for two adults to play roles that complement our primary and secondary characters.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform scripted and non-scripted roles according to directorial guidance.

We are currently seeking a stand-in for the character Tommy for the project titled POWER IV: FORCE. The ideal candidate will work closely with the film’s directors and cinematographers to help prepare scenes for shooting by standing in for the actor playing Tommy. This role is crucial for testing lighting and camera setups to ensure the actor’s scenes are shot efficiently and effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on set as a stand-in for the character Tommy on the specified working dates.

Project Description: We are currently seeking talent for an exciting project commissioned by Navy Federal Credit Union. This casting call is open to African American families or individuals who can form a family unit for the duration of the project. The family structure should ideally comprise 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids aged between 6-15 years. We are open to casting real families or assembling a family from individual submissions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a full-day photo and video shoot in Maryland on the specified date.
  • Portray the roles of family members, with the father being an “active duty military” member. This includes specific requirements for appearance, as detailed below.
  • Collaborate with the production team, photographers, and directors to bring the vision of the Navy Federal Credit Union project to life.

Requirements:

  • African American individuals or families willing to portray a cohesive family unit.
  • For the role of the father: Must be willing to have a clean-shaven face and a military haircut prior to the shoot if cast. This is a specific requirement for the “active duty military” portrayal.
