Uber Commercial Casting
We’re casting performers who drive with Uber or Uber Eats.
All gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities are welcomed.
ROLES:
Female Earners age 25-40
Parent(s), age 30-50, open to couples + single parents; at least 1 parent must drive with Uber (both parents will be compensated)
Comedian/Comedic Actor, age 30-50
MUST: have experience as an actor, comedian, musician, or content creator AND currently drive with Uber or Uber Eats
PREFERRED: bright personalities who can be funny, confident, and comfortable in front of camera
NO: excessive piercing or tattoos
WHEN: week of 3/27 (1 day of filming)
WHERE: Los Angeles (travel will be paid if driver is not local)
COMPENSATION:
- $500 for filming + $3000 buyout if/when the scene is used in the campaign (20% agent commission if relevant)
- $100 COVID testing stipend
- $150 wardrobe fitting
- $350 if selected as extras

The focus is on the individual within their space, with an HP printer helping you execute your needs!
Note: offering your workspace to shoot in is not optional – this is required for your submission to be considered; talent will receive additional compensation for their location use! (+$2,000 minimum)

SYNOPSIS OF CAMPAIGN
This spot is illuminating a new medical device that gives doctors a little extra support and will highlight the doctor in a positive light. The technology spotlights the doctor’s compassion and kindness in treatment with their patient. The medical technology allows the doctor to track progress, similar to a fitness or step counting app.
Studies show good connections between doctors and patients result in better patient outcomes. That’s why this is a topic that is seriously and rigorously tackled in the best medical schools in the world.
We’re working together with the The University of California San Diego in the creation and testing of a beta version of a medical technology. After a successful trial, our hope is that this technology can be implemented long term for use at UCSD, and eventually become a tool used by doctors everywhere.
This is for a technology that helps doctors remember to connect with their patients. We’re going to help doctors notice the quality of their interactions so they can connect better with their patients. When turned on during medical exams, the device will give feedback to the doctors based on the three critical metrics that research shows are the most important: proportion of conversation spent speaking, time until and frequency of interruptions, and the amount of technical language used.

In the SAN DIEGO area, we are seeking ACTUAL stories from people who have dealt with or are currently facing challenges in the medical system, including, but not limited to, inequality, empty communication, interruptions when explaining symptoms, clinical jargon, lack of bedside manner, trouble comprehending a diagnosis, etc. Whatever the story may be, we are looking for those REAL and EMOTIONAL experiences.
SYNOPSIS OF CAMPAIGN
