The role
Havas Production Studios (HPS), Video & Animation division, is a creative content studio embedded within HAVAS Health & You (HHY). We produce everything from complex 3D animation to intricate motion graphics to documentary-style live-action for broadcast, webcast, limited release, AR, and VR. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Video Producer well versed in the video production process. The Associate Producer, supervised by the Executive Producer, works in partnership with the HPS producers, editors, animators, and HHY’s agency creatives, writers, account managers, and other key stakeholders. The Video Producer will have a hand in every aspect of video and animation production from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will have energy in abundance, an excellent sense of portraying diverse storytelling with motion graphics, animation, and footage. You will be responsible for managing project workflows, budgets, and timelines; and coordinating resources and talent. You must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work in a collaborative environment, and be extremely organized in delivering high-quality video content.

Job Description :

What we expect from you

Field incoming requests and briefs for projects from Havas Health & You agencies and gather all of the relevant information to generate a production plan, a timeline, and a budget

Manage the day-to-day production and post-production needs of the projects, including daily dialogue with the HPS staff and freelances, and agency creatives, account, and project managers

Produce and direct voice-over recording sessions

A creative mindset

Requires

2+ years of experience as an Associate Producer or equivalent
A strong understanding of production and post-production workflows
Experience simultaneously managing multiple projects at an advertising agency or similar work environment
Detail-oriented, exceptionally well organized, and outstanding communication skills
Willingness to learn and a passion for collaboration
Advertising agency experience is a plus
Experience as a video or filmmaker and/or working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or other post-production software is a plus but not required

SCAD seeks a Video and Film Writer and Producer to help develop narrative writing that communicates the university’s brand, goals, and stories on film.

In this position, you will conceive, write, and pitch story ideas, developing approved concepts into production-feasible, fully planned projects and finished products. You will conduct research for all assignments and projects as appropriate, conceptualize stories, and develop treatments and pitch decks for film projects. You will also present story treatment to leadership and stakeholders, preparing support materials for production such as background information, responses to interview questions, and remarks as needed.

Once film projects are approved, you will manage the story arc and work toward continued development, identifying set locations and hiring or appointing members of the technical crew and cast where appropriate. As the point person on these projects, you will be expected to understand the story and narrative style to deliver the best product and provide on-set participants with needed information and on-screen coaching when necessary. You will coordinate the camera crew, art directors, costume designers, and musical composer to ensure a consistent creative execution while filming and with a film editor to complete the finished film.

The ideal candidate has experience working within budgetary constraints, adhering to production schedules, and managing culture and decorum on set. You should have exceptional interpersonal skills, respond positively to feedback, be willing to make changes, and be able to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.

Requirements
