This season Harlem Fashion Week will be hosting Open Casting for designers on Friday, March 4rd 2022

We want to give local designers the opportunity to participate.

IMPORTANT NOTE: ONLY 1 REGISTRATION FOR EACH DESIGNER.
Please share this event with your favorite designer.

They might get the opportunity to see their designs come down the Runway for New York Fashion Week!!!
Designers must bring a portfolio and 1 garment to the casting.

We will select ONLY 10 designers
All Designers MUST arrive at 7:00 pm SHARP!

AND Casting is looking for 3 experienced snowmobilers for a NYS Tourism Commercial

Who: Experienced Snowmobilers ages 25-45, any gender/ethnicity. Should be athletic. If you can do tricks on your sled, let me know.  

When: Shoots Tuesday March 1st late afternoon/into sunset

Where: Speculator NY 

Rate: $388 with COVID testing provided and additional compensation for providing wardrobe

You do NOT need to bring your own sled to Speculator. Snowmobiles will be provide.- Hotel can be provided if the shoot goes later.

GWCI is seeking Older Asian Actors for a Chinese Gambling Parlor scene (NON-SAG-AFTRA COVERED) on THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL.

– Filming in NYC!

VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: According to the newly re-negotiated Return to Work agreement, ALL Zone A Cast and Crew must be up to date with their vaccines, including boosters, by March 15, 2022. The Return to Work Agreement stipulates that effective March 15, 2022 only individuals who are “up to date” on their vaccines, as that term is defined by the CDC, shall be considered “fully vaccinated.”

Per the CDC, individuals are considered “up to date” on their vaccines if they have received a booster dose at least 5 months after the last dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or a booster dose at least 2 months after the first dose of the J&J/Janssen vaccine.

This is a casting call for MISS NIGHTCLUB , a 2nd Year Short Film for NYU Graduate Film Program. Shooting 23-26th February 2022, 3 days in NYC and one day in Larchmont, NY. Topless nudity involved, there will be an intimacy rider and there is a highly experienced Intimacy Coordinator on board, who will also be set.

We are looking to cast for the role of HAILEY, see below.

Logline: “A young man attempts to overcome his fear of physical intimacy.”

Synopsis: “An angry, young Korean-American male recounts to his therapist his experiences visiting an escort in an attempt to overcome his fear of physical intimacy.”

“HAILEY: an empathetic sex worker who is equal parts spiritual and entrepreneurial; she is the daughter of immigrants who deftly balances her responsibilities, partly as a means for keeping herself sane; she finds calm in meditation, is probably a yoga practitioner, and has a strong spirituality to her; she has seen and done a lot at a young age and attributes much of her success to how she has coped with past trauma; must be able to speak intermediate Spanish; nudity note: topless nudity required during a scene that involves hugging, caressing, and potentially kissing the Kevin character during a sex scene, though they actually do not end up having sex and just lay together.”

The scene takes place at Downtown Nightclub during the early 1960s.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: Consistent with the COVID-19 Return to Work Agreement, this production has a mandatory vaccine policy for individuals working in Zone A, which includes actors and background actors. This production may make limited accommodations as required by law for individuals that cannot be vaccinated because they are minors, have a disability and/or a sincerely held religious belief.
