Role/Position: DI Producer (Full-Time)

Job Location: Englewood Cliff, New Jersey

Job Description: Oversees the execution of projects upon arrival at the facility—both long and short-term forms. DI Producers collaborates with all staff and management to adjust workflows to deliver projects within deadline and budgets.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with operations to make sure all schedules and scope are accurate.
  • Supervise and coordinate transcodes, conforms, color correction, and final deliverables for multiple projects.
  • Track and communicate progress and estimate/actualize reports to operations, studio, and production personnel.
  • Build relationships with producers, directors, cinematographers, editors, and other client contacts to help sources and close new projects.
  • Work in a deadline-driven and team-based environment.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and excellent multi-tasking skills. 

Experience/Skills Required:

Job Description: Works with clients, producers, and engineers to execute workflows for various long- and short-term projects.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ingest client’s media for dailies transcode and archival.
  • Conform and occasionally color long and short projects from the camera negative and various sources.
  • Work closely with operations to make sure all schedules and scope are accurate
  • Review and ensure that all elements meet technical requirements
  • Work unsupervised and supervised with clients
  • Able to handle basic VFX work: shadow removal, masking split screens
  • Execute deliverables
  • Communicate on progress and completion of each project.
  • Train on equipment upgrades and new procedures.

Experience/Skills Required

  • At least five years of experience is needed in a post-production finish environment.
  • Understanding of production and post-production techniques and terms such as file formats, codecs, workflows, transcoding, and deliverables.

Job Location: Englewood Cliff, New Jersey

Job Description: Responsible for the support and maintenance of all workstations, systems, sound equipment, projection, and software. At the same time, having an understanding of long and short-form workflows and techniques. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deploy and maintain all hardware and software equipment. This includes projection, monitors, Super Micro, Mac and PC work station, software, and LTO decks.
  • Support all software including OSX, Windows, Resolve, Colorfront, Avid Final Cut, Adobe
  • Support and provide feedback on project workflows
  • Occasionally assist editors and colorists when needed.
  • Initiate troubleshooting tactics when needed
  • Stay up to date with industry tools and practices.

Experience/Skills Required

  • At least three years of experience maintaining post-production facilities in a systems admin role
  • Understanding production and post-production techniques and terms such as file formats, codecs, workflows, HDR, Dolby Atmos, and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of industry tools like Barco, Apple, Super Micro, OWC, Sony, LG, mLogic

Creative Producer, Impact Studios

Together with the Head of Studio, the Creative Producer is responsible for the development, management, production and execution of all Studios projects. The Creative Producer defines and ensures compliance with creative goals and project rails including budget and schedule, informing and advising Head of Studio of project status and issues. The Creative Producer is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all tasks throughout project lifespan from blue sky through hand-off to operations, including those performed by both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the Creative Producer participates in project ideation, supporting and driving the development of early-stage creative assets as needed. The Creative Producer provides leadership, inspiration, and creative vision on multiple projects simultaneously in multiple mediums and genres, for a diverse range of audiences worldwide.

In partnership with the Creative Director, the Creative Producer is responsible for achieving and maintaining the creative vision of all projects and for ensuring the implementation of that vision through the project life cycle, working to ensure that all Studios projects are innovative, groundbreaking, and impactful while also ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with the organization’s goals.

This position would ideally be based in Los Angeles or New York, but we are open to considering candidates based elsewhere. This position reports to the Head of Studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of new and innovative immersive experiences based on original as well as licensed IP

• Support Head of Studio in staffing and managing project teams, including creative and project management personnel, as needed

• Manage design development, fabrication, and on-site implementation of all show elements as required, in coordination with art direction guides, code compliance, technical requirements, and permit specification

• Ensure that guest experience and creative design intent is properly designed, developed, articulated, documented, and implemented

• Lead production status reviews, ensuring coordination with all stakeholders

• Drive project resource planning including cost estimation, budget management, and project scheduling

• Serve as contract administrator across numerous projects and manage external vendors as needed

• Report out and share work on a consistent, organized basis with Head of Studio

• Oversee project leadership in driving the execution and delivery of all projects

• Advise on key creative decisions throughout project lifespan, including during fabrication and in the field

• Partner with Head of Studio and internal departmental leads to define and implement project processes and standard operating procedures

• Contribute ideas, nurture the creativity of others, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Participate in and facilitate charrettes, brainstorming sessions and creative workshops (internally and externally) for proposals and projects as needed

• Serve as creative guardian and problem solver across multiple projects company-wide

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years design, production, and/or project management experience in immersive entertainment, exhibitions, theatre, new media and/or themed entertainment

• Knowledgeable of themed entertainment, museum industry, and immersive entertainment development processes, products, equipment, vendors and systems

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote

• Significant experience building and maintaining project budgets and Gantt charts

• Ability to read architectural drawings

• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and listening skills

• Demonstrated copywriting ability

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Proven track record of >1.5 years experience working with reports based on SQL and DWH systems in a large scale of data sets.
  • Experience in managing data pipelines for automated reporting (ETL). Knowledge of Python or R is an advantage. Beneficial to have knowledge in data modelling and analytical methods.
  • Google Analytics Certification / experience
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau/Microstrategy > 1 year (certificate or working experience). Confident to visualise data in interactive dashboards.
  • Experience in supporting your stakeholders with their use cases, including topics like derived metrics and troubleshooting any issue they might have.
