Casting Call for London-Based Teenagers (Ages 16-19) for New Online Game Show

Job Description: After Party Studios is producing Let Me Land (working title), a new online game show for Channel 4, and we are looking for fun and outgoing teenagers aged 16 to 19 based in London. The game show will air across Channel 4’s social media platforms, where participants will be part of a panel and take part in various games and challenges alongside established Channel 4.0 talent.

The show’s concept puts online creators’ powers of persuasion to the test as they attempt to convince the panel (which includes you) that their opinion, sometimes an unpopular one, is correct. Your role will be to engage, question, and decide if they can win you over!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a fun and engaging online game show as a panel member.
  • Be open to listening to and debating various opinions presented by the show’s creators.
  • Engage in games, challenges, and discussions alongside other panel members.
  • Be enthusiastic, have fun, and showcase your personality on camera.

Requirements:

  • London-based.
  • Teenagers aged 16 to 19 years old. (16-year-olds must be of school-leaving age to apply).
  • Outgoing, comfortable speaking in front of others, and willing to participate in discussions and games.
  • No prior acting experience required as this is open to non-actors.

Compensation:

  • Paid opportunity (details provided upon selection).
  • A chance to be featured on a Channel 4 online platform and work with established talent.

We’re looking for someone with strong production experience and a little creative spark to work alongside YouTuber Callux to push his content to the next level.

Callux has solidified his place as one of the most influential UK YouTubers, with viral video hits such as ‘Staying In The Quietest Room In The World’ and ‘Stop For Me And Ill Buy You Anything’, which have wracked up a combined 21 million views alone!

Along the way, he’s also founded two successful businesses. After Party Studios, a new-age digital production company that helps some of the world’s biggest brands, platforms, and broadcasters cut through the culture. And no-two-ways, born just 14 months ago and dubbed the world’s fastest-growing sneaker brand.

The Role

No two videos are ever the same. You could find Cal in Bristol surfing artificially created waves as part of Movember’s latest campaign on a Monday. And just the very next day, it’s a weird and wonderful disused nuclear bunker in Essex.

We’re looking for someone with ideally 3-5 years experience in video production and managing bigger bespoke shoots. With that being said, knowledge and drive won’t stop the right candidate from shining through.

The role would need to include but is not limited to; working alongside creative producers, liaising and booking crew/locations, casting, running video budgets of varying scales, supervising the post-production process, and overseeing any commercial/branded projects.

Cal is keen to hire a fun, organised, and friendly person. Starting asap.

We are offering an initial 3 month contract, but very much with a view to bringing someone in on a more FT basis.
