Job Detail: Alessi Hartigan Casting is seeking a photo double for an upcoming project scheduled for Wednesday, November 15th. This is a rush casting, and we are looking for individuals who closely resemble the featured actor in the provided photo. Both Union and Non-Union performers are welcome to submit for consideration.
Job Responsibilities: The selected photo double will be responsible for standing in for the actor during specific scenes that require a close physical resemblance. This includes replicating the actor’s movements and posture for the purpose of capturing certain shots. Previous experience as a Stand-in or Photo Double is highly encouraged and should be highlighted in your submission.

Job Description:
Alessi Hartigan Casting is seeking an 18+ African American Stand-In/Double for an upcoming A24 feature film project. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on this exciting project, with responsibilities beginning on November 1st and extending to a full-time commitment from November 6th to December 14th. The project will be filmed in Santa Fe, NM and ABQ.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a stand-in/double for the lead actor, accurately replicating their physical presence and movements on set.
- Collaborate closely with the cinematography team to ensure lighting and camera angles are optimized for the final shot.
- Pay meticulous attention to details regarding positioning, gestures, and facial expressions to maintain continuity in the film.
- Adapt to any necessary changes in blocking and performance based on directorial guidance.
- Maintain open communication with the director, cinematographer, and production team to ensure the highest quality output.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Height between 5’5″ and 5’7″.
- African American ethnicity.
- Full availability from November 1st, 2023, to December 14th, 2023.
- Strong ability to mimic and replicate movements and expressions of the lead actor.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced film production environment.
Compensation Details:
The selected candidate will receive a compensation of $120 per 8-hour day worked. This full-time position provides an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of an A24 feature film project, gaining valuable experience and exposure within the industry.
