Job Description:

We are seeking real people of all backgrounds and walks of life to be featured in a commercial for the Ohio Lottery, filming in the Cleveland, OH area. We want genuine individuals with diverse life experiences, whether you have previous acting experience or not. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase who you are in a relatable and fun commercial setting. Local hire only.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray individuals engaging with and scratching off a lottery ticket.
• Deliver two specific takes for the ad:
  1. Scratch off and win $500 in a library, displaying excitement but keeping it controlled.
  2. Scratch off and win $500 while surrounded by friends, showing authentic joy.
• Work on set for one day during the shoot window (Wednesday 10/9, Thursday 10/10, or Friday 10/11).
• Attend a fitting if necessary.

Requirements:

• Men and women of all ethnicities, ages mid 20s to mid 60s.
• Open to persons with disabilities.
• Must be a local hire in the Cleveland, OH area.
• Comfortable performing simple actions, such as scratching off a lottery ticket, and showing natural reactions.
• Prior acting experience is not required, but you must be confident and genuine on camera.
• Must have full availability during the shooting window. Please list any conflicts in your audition slate.

Compensation:

• Rate: $500 for the session + $1250 buyout + 20% agent fee (if applicable).
• Additional $75 fitting fee (not required for everyone; no fee if fitted on set).
• Usage: 1 year all digital media and TV in Ohio, including digital stills (not out-of-home advertising).

“Stale Air” Short Film

Job Description: “Stale Air” is a psychological horror short film written and directed by Sarah Leibman, Assistant Professor of Film at Ohio University. The film will be shot in Mitiwanga/Huron, Ohio, approximately one hour outside of Cleveland, under the SAG-AFTRA micro-budget agreement. We are currently seeking talented actors for key roles in this compelling and eerie narrative.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray assigned characters authentically and convincingly.

• Collaborate effectively with the director and fellow cast members.

• Attend all scheduled filming days and follow the production schedule.

• Maintain a professional attitude on set.

Requirements:

• Must be available for the specified filming dates.

• Experience in acting, particularly in the horror genre, is a plus.

• Ability to travel to the filming location in Huron, OH.

• Must be a SAG-AFTRA member or willing to work under the SAG-AFTRA micro-budget agreement.

Character Descriptions:

Ximena:

• Role: Female Supporting Role

• Description: Caucasian, age 25-39, sweet but frazzled by her mischievous daughter and demanding husband.

• Compensation: $200/day

• Time on Set: 2-2.5 days

• Additional Benefits: Meals provided and gas mileage reimbursed.

Milton:

• Role: Male Day Player

• Description: Caucasian, age 60-75, gruff and world-weary.

• Compensation: $100 for half day on set

• Additional Benefits: Meals provided and gas mileage reimbursed.

Casting for Trendy Married Couple in Shurtape Commercial

Job Description:

Angela Boehm Casting is seeking a trendy married couple for an upcoming Shurtape commercial filming in Cleveland, OH. This role is open to actors of any ethnicity and gender within the specified age range. While the actors do not need to be a real married couple, they should be able to convincingly portray one on screen. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fun and dynamic commercial shoot.
