Casting Call: Actor for Non-Union Faith-Based Web Promo

Job Details: We are currently seeking an Asian male actor aged between 25-35 years for a non-union faith-based promotional web video. The selected candidate will be portraying a character who is subtly inspirational and relatable, with scenes involving playing the guitar.

Responsibilities:

• Perform specific scenes while following the director’s guidelines and script.
• Play the guitar as part of the character portrayal.
• Be available for the entire shoot day on location in Huntsville, Alabama.
• Participate in brief rehearsal prior to filming, if required.
• Work collaboratively with the film crew and other cast members to create a positive and effective filming environment.

Requirements:

• Gender: Male
• Ethnicity: Asian
• Age: 25 to 35 years old
• Experience with acting in film, television, or similar media.
• Able to play the guitar at a basic to intermediate level.
• Must be a local hire or able to work in Huntsville without additional accommodation or travel compensation.
• Non-union.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $500 for the shoot day.
• This is a flat rate and includes all filming and rehearsal time required on the shoot day.

2. Female, Age 23-38 (White or Black)

   • Build: Slim to medium

   • Specifics: Should portray a laid back and carefree personality.

   • Shoot Date: Thursday, May 2nd

   • Scene: “Temple” Spot

3. Female, Age 30-40 (White or Asian)

   • Specifics: Naturally funny, quirky demeanor.

   • Shoot Date: Wednesday, May 1st

   • Scene: “Trust in God” Spot

4. Male, Age 25-35 (Asian, Latino, Mixed Ethnicity)

   • Specifics: Must be able to play the guitar.

   • Shoot Date: Wednesday, May 1st

   • Scene: “Talents” Spot

5. Male, Age 20s-30s (White)

   • Specifics: Strong acting skills, capable of portraying deep emotions.

   • Shoot Date: Tuesday, April 30th

   • Scene: “Treasure” Spot

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and perform roles according to directorial guidelines.

• Attend costume fittings and makeup sessions as scheduled.

• Cooperate with other cast members and crew to ensure smooth production.

• Adhere to set etiquette and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous acting experience (provide reel or portfolio).

• Must adhere to a conservative appearance: no visible tattoos, jewelry, unnatural hair colors, or heavy makeup.

• Must be available for the entire day of filming as scheduled.

• Ability to follow direction and adapt to changes in the shooting environment.

Compensation:

• This is a paid opportunity. Specific rates will be disclosed upon casting.

• Travel expenses will not be covered.
