Job Description:

Brock Allen Casting is seeking male background actors to portray students for the upcoming season of the acclaimed series “The Chosen.” This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a celebrated show and gain valuable on-set experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray students in various classroom and schoolyard scenes.

• Follow directions from the director and casting team to accurately represent student behaviors and interactions.

• Maintain the look and feel of the time period and setting of the show.

• Be punctual, professional, and cooperative on set.

Requirements:

• Specifications:

  • Male

  • Ages 18 to mid-20s

  • Olive to deep skin tones (Asian and BIPOC submissions preferred)

• General:

  • Must be available to work on the shoot date: Wednesday, July 31st.

  • Must be able to work as a local hire in Midlothian, TX.

  • Ability to follow directions and maintain professionalism on set.

  • Previous acting experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation Details:

• Rate: $100 for 10 hours of work.

Brock Allen Casting is seeking extras to play Roman soldiers and Roman servants for a promo shoot for “The Chosen” Season 5. We are looking for individuals who can convincingly portray these roles and enhance the authenticity of the scenes.

Job Responsibilities

• Background Acting: Perform non-speaking roles in the background, portraying Roman soldiers and servants.

• Coordination: Follow directions from the director and assistant directors to ensure seamless integration into scenes.

• Authenticity: Maintain the character’s demeanor and actions throughout the shoot to contribute to the scene’s historical accuracy.

• Professionalism: Maintain a professional attitude on set, arriving on time and ready to work for the entire duration of the shoot.

Requirements

• Roles:

  • 2 Roman Soldiers

  • 2 Roman Servants

• Physical Requirements: Ability to convincingly portray the specified roles, including any physical demands such as standing for long periods or wearing period-specific costumes.

Compensation Details

• Pay Rate: $200 for 12 hours of work.
