Job Responsibilities:

TRISTAN

  • Portray the character Tristan, a 25 to 40-year-old male of any ethnicity.
  • Convey a physical presence indicative of hard, manual labor juxtaposed with a white-collar demeanor.
  • Embody a quiet, contemplative nature, especially in confrontational situations.
  • Express Tristan’s deep love for his wife Laiose and his struggle to come to terms with her infidelity.

LAIOSE

  • Portray the character Laiose, a 25 to 40-year-old female of any ethnicity.
  • Evoke a youthful spirit on the surface, while subtly conveying inner turmoil and weariness.
  • Depict the complexity of torn emotions between her past with Tristan and her new connection with Shay.
  • Communicate Laiose’s love for Tristan, amidst the challenges of their relationship’s distant nature and her own feelings of guilt.

SHAY

  • Portray the character Shay, a confident 24 to 33-year-old male of any ethnicity.
  • Exude confidence bordering on arrogance, unapologetic about his role as “the other man”.
  • Display a protective streak towards Laiose, while maintaining an assertive nature, especially when his relationship with her is questioned.
  • Demonstrate genuine care for Laiose, combined with a lack of respect for Tristan.

Requirements:

  • All applicants must be between 24 and 40 years old.
  • Open to actors of any ethnicity.
  • Must be available for shoot dates between November 2-5, 2023.
  • Self-tape auditions are required.

Compensation:

  • Payment of $150.00 per shoot day.

Casting Call: Film Student Internships in the Tampa Bay Area

Job Details: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated film students to join our dynamic production team as interns in the beautiful Tampa Bay area. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of filmmaking and contribute to real projects within a professional setting. As an intern, you will be an integral part of our team, collaborating with industry professionals and participating in various aspects of the filmmaking process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in pre-production tasks such as script breakdowns, storyboarding, and location scouting.
  • Aid in setting up and operating filming equipment on set, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth logistics during shoots.
  • Assist in capturing behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and b-roll.
  • Participate in post-production activities such as video editing, sound design, and color correction.
  • Support the team in organizing and managing production assets and files.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall quality of the projects.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a film-related program or have equivalent experience.
  • Passion for filmmaking and a strong desire to learn and grow in a professional setting.
  • Basic understanding of filmmaking equipment and techniques.
  • Proficiency in relevant software for video editing and post-production (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability to commit to a flexible internship schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation to various shoot locations.

This is a promotion directed to the African American community of Atlanta, GA.
Run or Usage: In perpetuity on all social media platforms for the finance educational brand. A series of webisode promotional videos for a financial education company. The script will be provided and written directions on how to execute the take. 

  • [SCENARIO 1: SINGLE FEMALE] 30 to 40 years old, Black woman, transgender woman. Loses her sister, who was a single mom of three children, in a tragic car accident and there was no life insurance. After getting through this experience, she decides to get insurance, but she is having issues getting life insurance for herself because of a lingering Covid-related hospitalization. She is out of options and needs help and guidance to secure her financial future. Devastated, distraught, and feeling that life is unjust.
  • [SCENARIO 2: WIFE] 50 to 60 years old, Black woman. Recently won $1 million dollars from a scratch-off. She and her husband lost money because of bad investments and helping their adult children who currently live with them. Her husband recently retired, and she encourages her husband to seek financial education.
  • [SCENARIO 2: HUSBAND] 60 to 65 years old, Black man. Recently retired from the Federal Government after 30 years. Afraid that he and his wife will not have enough to live comfortably in retirement and need help safely growing their money after his wife wins the lottery. Hesitant and embarrassed about seeking help.
  • [SCENARIO 3: WIFE] 50 to 55 years old, Black woman. Helps her family with financial needs while neglecting her household. Facing the possibility of divorce.
  • [SCENARIO 3: HUSBAND.] 50 to 65 years old, Black man. He feels his wife allows her family to have too much control over her and her husband’s finances. Bitter, considering divorce, and seeking financial help.
  • [SCENARIO 4 SINGLE MALE] 60 to 65 years old, Black man. Single Male who has been divorced for more than 30 years is struggling to manage debt and saving for retirement. He needs help with creating a simple strategy to eliminate debt, save, and reduce future income taxes.
