Casting Call: A-List Music Video – Various Roles

Job Description:
We are casting for a confidential A-list music video directed by Dave Meyers, produced by Freenjoy, and shooting in Los Angeles. The video will feature a diverse range of characters, from streetwise “dope girls” to eccentric “politicians,” in a series of high-energy, action-packed scenes. All roles are non-speaking, and the production seeks actors with unique, authentic looks and energy. The shoot will be under a SAG Music Video Contract, but both SAG and non-SAG talent are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray one of the specified roles in the music video, following direction from the production team.
  • Be comfortable performing actions specific to the role (e.g., dancing, interacting with props, embodying specific emotions).
  • Maintain professionalism on set, work within a collaborative environment, and bring the desired energy for each scene.
  • Some roles may require partial nudity, physical contact, or intense scenes. Please ensure comfort with your selected role’s requirements before applying.

Available Roles:

  1. Dope Girls: BIPOC, Female, ages 18-30. Strong, magnetic look, hanging out in cool street environments.
  2. Dope Girl on Car Hood: BIPOC, Female, ages 18-30. Grinds on the hood of a car, legs spread, wind blowing through hair.
  3. Bald Gangster / Long Beach Tattoo Guy: Black, Male, ages 18-50. Shows off a real or painted “LB” tattoo.
  4. Subwoofer Girl: BIPOC, Female, ages 18-30. Hair vibrates up as subwoofer goes off, light, straight hair required.
  5. Braless Woman: BIPOC, Female, ages 18-30. Heavy-chested, bouncing in slow motion in a bounce car. Must wear a tight white T-shirt without a bra.
  6. Fellas with Dogs: BIPOC, Male, ages 18-40. Muscular build, comfortable handling large dogs.
  7. Twerking/Jiggle Woman: BIPOC, Female, ages 18-35. Twerks, with visible jiggle from bass vibrations.
  8. Shadow Man: Male, all ethnicities, ages 18-50. Silhouetted figure discovering a dark secret.
  9. Concerned Mother: Black, Female, ages 40-55. Distraught, searching for her missing daughter.
  10. Uncle: Black, Male, ages 40-70. Appealing for help, with a unique look (bruised eye or condition).

Requirements:

  • Talent must fit the specific age, ethnicity, and physical descriptions listed for each role.
  • Comfortable with the physical and emotional demands of each role.
  • Must be available to work in Los Angeles for the full duration of the shoot (12-hour days).

Compensation:

  • Session Fee: $593 for 10 hours or $715 for 12 hours.
  • Usage Fee: $500.
  • Travel and accommodations negotiable for non-local talent.

Job Description: We are casting real New Yorkers who are currently involved in different types of disputes and are willing to undergo free conflict mediation for an upcoming documentary produced by Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures. Whether you’re in a workplace disagreement, a conflict over a pet, an issue with a neighbor, or a dispute with a landlord, tenant, or roommate, this is an opportunity to participate in a meaningful project while working towards resolution through professional mediation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in on-camera conflict mediation sessions to resolve your current dispute.
  • Openly share and discuss your conflict, whether it’s related to your workplace, a pet, a neighbor, or living arrangements.
  • Collaborate with mediators and the production team to help resolve the issue while being filmed.
  • Be professional and cooperative during the filming and mediation process.

Requirements:

  • Must be a New York resident currently involved in one of the following disputes:
    • Workplace disputes

  • Willing to participate in conflict mediation on camera.

  • Comfortable with being filmed and having your experience documented.
