Job Description: We are seeking a talented and charismatic actor to portray the character of Louis in Playwright Lezley Steele’s new play “Behind the Sparkle”. This staged reading will take place on December 4th at 7pm near Times Square in NYC, following the AEA 29 hour Staged Reading Guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Bring the character of Louis to life, embodying his charm, wit, and depth of emotion.
- Collaborate closely with the director, Celine Havard, to interpret and deliver the character’s lines and actions.
- Rehearse as needed to ensure a polished and engaging performance for the staged reading.
Requirements:
- Age: 25-29
- Ethnicity: Black
- Nationality: French Canadian
- Strong acting skills and the ability to convey complex emotions.
- Availability for rehearsals leading up to the performance date.
- Non-union/Union submissions accepted.
Compensation:
- $100 stipend will be provided to cover expenses related to the production.
