Cantonese-Speaking Actors Needed for Broadcast Comedy Series
Job Description: A successful broadcast comedy series is seeking Cantonese-speaking actors aged 35 to 75+ for roles in an upcoming production. This exciting opportunity involves filming for a popular comedy series that will air in late 2024. The production is looking for talented individuals who can bring humor, charisma, and authentic language skills to the screen.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scripted scenes in Cantonese as part of a broadcast comedy series.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to deliver high-quality performances.
- Follow the director’s instructions to ensure the comedic tone and style are effectively portrayed on camera.
- Participate in rehearsals and filming on the scheduled dates.
Requirements:
- Cantonese speakers aged 35 to 75+ years.
- Must be fluent in Cantonese, with clear and natural delivery.
- Acting experience is preferred but not required.
- Applicants should be able to follow direction and maintain professionalism on set.
Compensation:
- Competitive compensation will be provided based on industry standards. Further details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
We are looking for real couples to tell us their love stories on a new online comedy show. On this show, we follow two well known comedy/reality stars, as they chat to real couples and find out about the journey of their love life.
We are looking specifically for couples whose love stories might not always have been given a platform, these could be couples from the LGBTQ community, they could be interracial couples or even been apart of an arranged marriage. But the possibilities are endless!
The shoot is next Tuesday 9th in London (you do not need to be London based but we willing to travel in) so please urgently get in touch. All necessary covid precautions are being taken so the shoot can go ahead safely for cast and crew. Each couple will be paid £300 for 3 hours of their time.
