Job Description: A well-known financial institution, in collaboration with Grasshopper Casting, is searching for talented makers, crafters, artisans, and creatives across the nation. This casting call is an exciting opportunity to showcase your unique skills and creative entrepreneurship on a national platform.

Job Responsibilities:

• Share your story and the creative process behind your unique hobby, business, or side hustle.
• Participate in a one-day production shoot that will travel to your location.
• Demonstrate your craft and highlight the significance of your work.
• Collaborate with the production team to capture engaging and authentic content.

Requirements:

• Open to individuals aged 20-55, nationwide.
• All ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, and orientations are encouraged to apply.
• Must have a unique hobby, business, or side hustle, such as sculpting, welding, weaving, woodworking, hair artistry, nail art, guitar/instrument making, doll making, car restoration, baking, clothes-making, herbalism, antique restoration, painting, etc.
• Interested in artists whose creative drive is tied to their heritage.

Compensation Details:

• Payment: $500 per person for the shoot day.
• Usage Fee: $1500.
• Fitting Fee: $100 (if applicable).
• Additional $1000 if the filming occurs at the talent’s creative space.

Casting Call: Texas State Aquarium Commercial Campaign

Overview:

We are currently seeking families with toddlers and/or teenagers to star in an upcoming commercial campaign for the Texas State Aquarium. This is a fantastic opportunity for families who love adventure, marine life, and want to make unforgettable memories while contributing to the promotion of one of Texas’s most beloved attractions. This campaign aims to highlight the joy, wonder, and family-friendly atmosphere of the aquarium.

Job Details:

• Roles Available:

  • Moms

  • Dads

  • Children (Toddlers or Teenagers)

• Filming Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

• Shooting Date: April 17

• Duration: 1-2 days of shooting (details to be confirmed upon selection)

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in various filmed scenes within the Texas State Aquarium settings, including interactive exhibits, outdoor areas, and educational programs.

• Engage naturally with family members and exhibit genuine enjoyment and interest in the aquarium’s attractions.

• Follow direction from the director and production team to ensure scenes are captured as required.

• Be available for costume fittings, rehearsals, and any promotional activities related to the campaign, if needed.

Requirements:

• Families with toddler(s) and/or teenager(s).

• Must be comfortable being filmed and taking direction from a production team.

• Must have availability on the specified filming date and flexibility for potential additional dates for rehearsals or promotional activities.

• Previous acting experience is not required, but participants should have a natural on-camera presence and be able to engage with family members and the environment in an authentic manner.

• Must be able to provide own transportation to the filming location in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Compensation:

• This is a PAID opportunity. Compensation details will be discussed upon selection and will be based on role and experience.

• In addition to financial compensation, participants will receive complimentary passes to the Texas State Aquarium, professional photos and footage for personal use, and the chance to be featured in a high-profile campaign.
