Casting for Young Boy in Feature Film

Job Description: Kahleen Crawford Casting (I, Daniel Blake, Vigil, His Dark Materials) is seeking a male wheelchair user aged 35+ for a role in a highly reputable, BAFTA-winning production company’s feature film.

Role Details:

  • Character: Steve
  • Character Background: Steve is a member of the sub-dom community, involved in a long-term same-sex relationship. He has been using a wheelchair since a motorbike crash over a decade ago.
  • Scenes: Includes portrayal of scenes of a sexual nature, handled with the support of an intimacy coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the character ‘Steve’ authentically, reflecting his background and current life situation.
  • Participate in scenes that require careful and respectful handling, especially those of a sexual nature.
  • Work closely with directors, co-actors, and the intimacy coordinator to ensure a respectful and professional portrayal.

Requirements:

  • Male wheelchair user aged 35+.
  • Acting experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Must be comfortable with scenes of a sexual nature.
  • Based in the UK.

Compensation Details:

Casting Call: Girl aged 16-10 to play a 15 year old in a feature film

Kahleen Crawford Casting (His Dark Materials, SAS: Rogue Heroes, I Hate Suzie, Living) is looking for a girl/ young woman for a role in a feature film, the role explores coming of age themes.

What we’re looking for: 

  • Girl/ Youn Woman age 16-10 years old who can play 15 years old
  • Based in England, Wales or Scotland
  • Available for shooting February – April 2023
  • Due to existing casting character has one white parent
  • Bonus if you speak french fluently or to a high standard.
  • No acting experience required

NOTE:

UK or Ireland based applicants are very much the focus.

Natural speaking accent when speaking English must be Scottish, English or Welsh.

Age range has been set with care, and is important.

We cannot cast anyone below 16.
