We are specifically looking to feature Dominican and Caribbean elders, ages 70s and 80s, to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of these communities. This project aims to create a series of authentic and respectful portraits that highlight the beauty and wisdom of elder generations. No previous modeling experience is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a professional photo shoot.
- Follow directions from the photographer and crew to capture the best possible images.
- Attend a brief meeting prior to the shoot to discuss the project details and your involvement.
Requirements:
- Must be of Dominican or Caribbean descent.
- Age 70s or 80s.
- Residing in or able to travel to the New York Metro area.
- Comfortable being photographed.
- Available on the scheduled date of the photo shoot.
- No professional modeling experience necessary.
Compensation:
- $200 honorarium for the day of the shoot.
- Travel expenses reimbursed up to $50.
