Job Description

  • Work with dental dealers and OEM partners to define, coordinate and implement action plans to meet and exceed their needs
  • Lead initiatives to discover and develop new sales opportunities for OEM products.
  • Manages the daily execution of the business development strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives.
  • Defines, coordinates and implements action plan for key accounts
  • Develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes
  • Maintains and strengthens key account relationships as well as develops new relationships
  • Identifies new opportunities for growth, closes new business and ensures business objectives/strategies are consistently met
  • Identifies market trends and delivers input towards the overall strategy for the development of the market segment
  • Introduces new products and services to the market
  • Provides consistent and accurate sales and forecast planning
  • Manages and participates in the development of sales and marketing strategies working collaboratively with all stakeholders
  • Collaboratively defines and monitors budget to include expenditures in relation to the budget. Makes suggestions for new product offerings or improvements to sales or marketing efforts. May administer or negotiate new business proposals and prepare contracts.
  • Objectively qualify new business leads.
  • Conducts Sales visits and meets with customers on-site as required.
  • Reviews customer requests for quotation (RFQ’s) to ensure necessary information is available and that customer requirements conform to the company’s capabilities
  • Works with in-house counsel during negotiations of Terms and Conditions, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Supply and Distribution Agreements as needed with customers
  • Determines and recommends the pricing to be included in the quotation to the customer, within established guidelines
  • Prepares proposals/quotations for customers, including equipment description and specifications, pricing, and reviews and negotiates necessary revisions with the customer
  • Responds to questions and inquiries from customers regarding technical problems and issues that arise and provides related technical support or assistance.

Qualifications:

Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in dental sales; 5 years related management/leadership experience preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing preferred

  • Analytical capability as required in reviewing, assessing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, as required in working effectively with customer personnel to interpret their requirements, develop new business, and resolve problems and issues that arise

Job purpose

Lead the development and implementation of the vision and commercial strategy for Aerospace, Roofing, Solid Surface, Equine Bovine, and DIY market segments globally, with emphasis on US market. Provide market intelligence to balance the needs of our customers and our Commercial, R&D, Operations, and Executive Committee for assigned segments and products affected.

Main accountabilities and tasks

  • Lead market research activity through external and internal sources, to gather intelligence on the assigned market segments, thus anticipating trends, risks, and opportunities. This includes mapping the value chain to identify key players, trends, growth rates, market size, market share, competitor activity, top customers by segment, regulatory/compliance, and other relevant information
  • Establish contact with end-users to understand the product applications and gain insight on how they interact with our products, thus, leading us to product improvements and/or untapped opportunities
  • Lead the assessment and execution of market driven new products and services opportunities
  • Support the creation of three-year strategy plan and setting of annual breakthrough objectives
  • Deliver input for product innovation and development. Prioritize best bets that support short- and long-term growth objectives and unmet market needs
  • Establish and maintain competitive landscape and develop sell-against strategies for increased share and protection of core business
  • Lead channel to market strategy, direct versus distributor
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications and Sales on product launches and development of promotional campaigns
  • Monitor, report and manage financial health and profitable growth of product portfolio in assigned segments
  • Champion sustainability, product safety and technical regulatory compliance
  • Deliver training rhythm on product, application, and together with Marketing, provide sales tools and coach value-selling to commercial team
  • Collaborate with Sales & Operations Planning leader by providing intelligence on growth rates, market segment trends, customer insight, etc. to achieve Forecast accuracy goals, and help in decision making for future Operational investments.
  • Own responsiveness of customer issue resolution

Desired experience and qualifications

Work experience: 5+ years of experience in Product Management roles or relevant field

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred or commensurate experience

  • Performs accounting activities for respective LE’s and ERP systems including reporting, ensures smooth and on-time execution of activities, drives resolution of open issues.
  • Maintains accurate cash forecasts. Advocate for timely collections. Coordinates all accounts payable activities for respective LE including employee reimbursement of expenses and credit card matching.
  • Liaison with Banks to maintain daily operations running.
  • Supports internal and external audit activities.

Main accountabilities and tasks

  • Execute accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Including issuing and posting journal entries, reconcile accounts, control GRIR, prepaids, amortization schedules, run reports and execute interfaces between SAP-Tagetik. Reconcile and match intercompany balances.
  • Prepare accurate cash forecasts, carefully reviewing 3rd Party collection patterns, Intercompany, payables to suppliers, payroll and anticipating future cash needs. Reconcile on a daily basis Banks and if needed initiate loan requests.
  • Set up payment proposals, arrange ACH’s, issue checks, and maintain templates in Banking portals.
  • Supports preparation of financial data for tax advisors.
  • Establish actions and liaise with Banks and Global treasury to keep operations running and execute tactical measures when needed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external audits by facilitating audit reviews, providing documentation, and guidance about financial data.
  • Coordinate with our remote finance staff for execution of routine processes for A/P, A/R and G/L.
  • Perform regular assessments for internal controls.
  • Execute timely processes for Travel and expense application (YOKOY) and credit card reconciliation.
  • Monitor and aim for progress of workflows in VIM.
  • Ensures that the applied practices and procedures are compliant with applicable policies, laws and regulations.
  • Supports Controller.
  • Ensures application of accounting policies and procedures; maintains appropriate internal control standards in accordance with medmix Accounting Manual
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining all SOPs related to financial transactions: A/P, A/R and G/L.

Desired experience and qualifications

Work experience: Five years of experience in Accounting or Finance

Education: Bachelor’s degree in in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

  • Communication skills, both oral and written, as required to communicate effectively with others at all levels in the organization and to provide clear and concise information as needed.
