Bally Sports is looking for a Content Product Manager. Bally Sports’ mission is to build a transformative, participatory sports platform, anchored by the most exclusive and relevant live professional games, that provides fans a year-round opportunity to engage with content and communities they are most passionate about. You will create best-in-class digital experiences for Bally Sports Users as a Product Lead for the content experience within our core mobile apps, websites and connected devices and premium streaming services. In this role, you will be responsible for defining product user stories, prioritizing the backlog, and identifying technical and operational enhancements necessary to deliver a compelling user experience that drives the Bally Sports content discovery and consumption. You will also leverage product performance data, consumer insights and research to develop features that grow and retain fans and subscribers.

What you’ll do
– Lead the definition and execution of Bally Sports’ content discovery, consumption and user personalization strategies
– Lead and perform daily product management activities including writing product requirements & user stories, as well as crafting high level technical and user experience flows
– Contribute to the overall digital product roadmap by defining and prioritizing content enhancements & personalization features across platforms.
– Leverage a deep understanding of existing content strategies and engagement techniques on sports and entertainment streaming platforms
– Identify and understand a variety of personas & user needs and create journey maps to alleviate UX friction
– Partner with the Content, Engineering and Design teams to help users get to content they will love as quickly as possible
– Set KPIs to measure the success of new features, and develop learnings for further advancement
– Collaborate with a cross-functional product team to identify opportunities for meaningful tests and define and carry out a/b testing to validate features
– Create and deliver presentations that explain user research, new features, and roadmap
What to bring:
– 10+ years of experience working with Direct-to-Consumer, OTT and/or live video products
– Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
– Experience working with user personalization
– Deep analytical skills with a focus on data-informed decision-making
The base salary compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.

WOAI/KABB/KMYS has an immediate opening for a Morning Executive Producer to oversee news content for overall fairness, balance and accuracy. The ideal candidate will produce daily newscasts and oversee production of newscasts, online content and special programming. You will work closely with producers and reporters on daily selection and coverage. As a newsroom leader, the expectation is that the Executive Producer will lead by example.
Some additional responsibilities of our Executive Producer will include
– Oversee daily newscasts to ensure we are serving our local communities by sharing relevant information to alert, protect and empower our audiences
– Supervise producers and reporters, as well as, review scripts and provide feedback to encourage powerful storytelling
– Manage news room and handle breaking news situations to empower and grow our audiences
– Collaborate with News Directors and other station managers to create special segments
– Planning and overseeing continuity into upcoming newscasts
What skills do you need to be successful in our role?
– Proven track record of creating compelling and engaging stories across multiple platforms
– Ability to preform well under pressure, experience managing breaking news and meeting strict deadlines
– Ability to identity problems and provide solutions
– Ability to understand and manage multiplatform content and metrics
– A strong commitment to journalistic standards and ethics
– Extraordinary people skills with an emphasis on coaching and motivating
– Strong understanding of how to drive digital traffic
– Minimum of 3 years of experience producing in a television news environment or equivalent
– A college degree in Journalism or a related field is preferred
– Strong writing skills and a proven track record for getting results on initiatives

Marquee Sports Network is the television home of the Chicago Cubs in partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group (Nasdaq: SBGI). It is the Chicago’s exclusive network to view live Cubs games featuring extensive pre and postgame coverage, exclusive Cubs content and other local sports programming. Marquee Sports Network brings together one of the most iconic sports franchises in the country with one of the largest television broadcasting companies to deliver unprecedented Cubs coverage for fans.
Marquee Sports Network is seeking a Director – Broadcast Operations to help manage the complexities of a live TV network environment. The Director – Broadcast Operations will report to the SVP Broadcast Operations and will assist in the overall technical management of the facility and studio operation. As such, candidate must have knowledge of broadcast technical facilities both in studio and remote. This person must be an exceptional project manager with attention to detail, highly organized, strong communicator with the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The right candidate will be a self-starter who is willing and able to roll up their sleeves and accomplish tasks in a multi-faceted environment.
Duties include:
– Work with production coordinator on daily schedules and technical assignments for in studio and remote studio productions
– Reviews all 3rd party operations invoices for accuracy to ensure proper billing for services rendered.
– Tracks departmental expenses related to remote studio and game productions
– Creates and distributes tech books for all remote productions including Cubs games, remote studio productions and others as needed.
– Provides internal management coverage for Cubs games along with other Directors in department
– Hires, and assigns all technical managers for remotes, Cubs games and studio. Tech manages games and or studio remotes as back up when necessary.
– Collaborates with Sr. Director Technical Operations in overseeing technical facilities and personnel for studio productions and remote studio productions.
– Generates and distributes technical operations department staff schedule with SVP
– Work with SVP Broadcast Operations on budget allocations for facility and operational expenses.
– Develop and implement cost reduction, work simplification and method improvement programs.
– Manage security team including preparing and adjusting work schedules in accordance with staffing needs.- Effectively interact with department heads as needed for special projects with SVP

Qualifications & Requirements:
– Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in broadcast environment
– 3-5 years of experience in technical management
– Experience in studio and remote operations
– Knowledge of TV technology
– Willingness to work nights, weekends holidays as schedule will revolve around Cubs calendar and all live sports and entertainment programming
– Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with expert and lay audiences.
– Able and willing to take on special projects and assume new responsibilities.
– Effective time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work both autonomously and on a team.
– Ability to contribute to planning and strategic thinking.
