Job Details: We seek talented individuals to join our production as background actors for an upcoming project. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic production taking place in Burlington. Whether you’re a seasoned background actor or looking to gain experience in the entertainment industry, we welcome your application.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the production team and follow directions from the director and assistant directors.
- Engage in natural and convincing background acting to enhance the realism of the scenes.
- Maintain consistent performance and energy levels throughout the shooting hours.
- Adhere to wardrobe, makeup, and hair styling guidelines provided by the production team.
- Stay attentive to the crew’s needs and promptly respond to instructions.
Requirements:
- Males and females between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Available for all three production dates: August 29, 30, and 31.
- Location: The shoot will take place in Burlington (specific location to be announced).
- Time commitment: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM (firm start time to be confirmed).
- No prior acting experience is necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Non-Union applicants must be available at the rate specified.
Compensation:
- Actra Members: Background daily rate applies (specific rate to be provided upon selection).
- Non-Union: $15.50 per hour.

COVID Protocols and Testing:
This production has a mandatory vaccination policy. Please do not accept a booking unless proof of full vaccination (2 x Canadian approved vaccine shots) can be presented upon arrival. Failure to present Federal Health Canada proof of Vaccination will result in performer/s being sent home without pay. A PCR test is required 48 hours in advance of the work date Tests are arranged by production at no cost to the performer. Performers are paid a $100 stipend for testing.
